4-Year-Old & Under Novice Horse Hunter Under Saddle, $2500/slot, Estimated $45,000 payout
- The horse has not earned a World, Reserve World, World Show, or Reserve World Show Champion title or more than 25 points from any equine breed registry or association or more than $1000 NSBA earnings by the class date. The horse is ineligible to enter other classes at Paint Vegas prior to the time of the slot class.
4-Year-Old & Under Novice Horse Western Pleasure, $2500/slot, Estimated $57,500 payout
- The horse has not earned a World, Reserve World, World Show, or Reserve World Show Champion title or more than 25 points from any equine breed registry or association or more than $1000 NSBA earnings by the class date. The horse is ineligible to enter other classes at Paint Vegas prior to the time of the slot class.
Purchasing a Slot:
- Fill out the Slot Application (PDF) and mail or hand-deliver the application along with your payment to the APHA between March 1 – 10, 2006
- Entries will only be accepted in person at the APHA office or through mail (dated by postmark of March 1-10), NO FAXES, NO EXCEPTIONS
- All applications postmarked prior to March 1 will be mailed back to sender
- Payment in full must be received/postmarked between March 1-10 or application will be void
- If APHA receives more than 30 slot entries, owners will be drawn for lotto-style on March 24 at the APHA office
- Full refunds will be given to names not drawn

- Ownership
- Owner on the slot entry form is the owner of the slot, regardless of the horse shown.
- The owner must have an APHA membership.
- The original slot owner in 2006 has the first right of refusal of that slot for the life of the show or until they give up the right.
- There is a limit of two per each Immediate Family Unit (see the APHA rulebook, Rule SC-160.N. for a definition).
- Naming Horse
- All horses must be named by September 1, 2006.
- Substitutions will only be acceptable with the death of the horse.
- Naming Exhibitor
- All exhibitors must be named by September 1, 2006.
- Exhibitors are ineligible to show if they have won an APHA World or Reserve World Champion title three or more times in the past five years or an AQHA World title once in the past five years as of the Paint Vegas show date.
- Substitutions acceptable until December 1, 2006.
